Rotidua's roti:
First, spread mayo on pita bread. For the filling: Saute chopped onions and garlic plus curry powder until fragrant. Mixed with minced beef. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Add in chopped tomato and finely sliced celery. Mixed thoroughly. Take few spoonfuls and spread on your pita bread. Roll and cut into small pieces if you like.

Voila! ready to eat.

AFter fasting for a month in Ramadhan, we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitri on the 1st of Syawal. But we Malaysians make up any excuse to gather and eat food so we celebrate it for the whole month of Syawal :)
Malaysians usually hold open houses where they invite friends and relatives over, and get a chance to strengthen the relationship with each other :)

elisa: the difference is in the soup itself, which tastes like chicken rice soup, with a tinge of serai ,kaffir lime leaves flavour and stronger kunyit color.VERY MILD and easy on the stomach. the most famous soto surabaya is Soto Ambengan which can be found in Jakarta. This particular one originated from a small village Malang, East of Java.
